12U Minor Team Adopts A Family

The Girls 12U Minor team worked with Family Promise to adopt a family for Christmas.  The players and parents did an amazing job recognizing a local family in need and taking action.  The girls came together to wrap the gifts and color tags.  The joy in their hearts, for helping others, was overflowing.

The New Jersey Colonials and Coach Amanda Linklater are proud of the kids and their families for embracing this idea and working together to help a local family have a wonderful Christmas.

Family Promise of Morris County is a non-sectarian, not-for-profit organization dedicated to ending the crisis of homelessness faced by Morris County families by partnering with other public and private agencies, religious congregations and community volunteers to provide shelter, case management and mentoring services leading to self-sufficiency.
